I Love My Cat - Sneek Peek Pet Collection

Hello and good morning.. my card uses the wonderful sketch my friend Jaqueline created for the Friday Sketcher blog. Check it out.. we have so many different sample cards to see what is possible with this sketch. I just mounted my octagon on my 6x6 card base lol. To cut the perfect ankled corners i used my Scor-pal cutting mat and lined my cs on the 45 degree angle (click on link and you will see what i mean) and cut with an exacto knife. That was the easy part but boy the stitched "x" with hemp on my card took long. At one point i regretted that idea lol.

Stamps: Magnolia " Tilda from the Pet Collection" Cat in the inside can be found in a 2007 Collection
Sentiment: computer generated
Papers/CS: Bo Bunny "Pet", Making Memories "Chloes Closet" Stampin up (Kraft, Blue, Vanilla, Chocolate Chip)
Tools: Stampin up punch, Scor Pal self healing cutting mat
Embellishments: Mother of pearl fish embellishment and flower button received from Heidi over on Papirverden for Christmas :-) everything else is by Stampin up

Delicious!

Hello happy Memorial Day :-) are you prepared for some good BBQ with friends and family? Well.. my card has nothing to do with meats and sausages lol but what about a yummy dessert? Strawberries and cherries :-) I have found this cute paper a while ago in my store and i had to have it.. oh btw.. i have seen some cute new papers from BoBunny cat and dog themed.. i bought some of this paper as well in anticipation of the Magnolia pet Collection WHEN IS IT COMMING OUT? lol

Since iam planning on listing this card over on Ebay and i bought quite a lot of this Design Paper so i thought i could make a matching envelope (use "the Enveloper) for my card. If you have not seen my picture tutorial on 5. January you could check it out here. It is very easy and fast but it gives your card just a tick more "specialness" lol.. is this a word???

Stamp: Magnolia, Tilda in Cherry Dress (Kitchen Collection 2008), Sentiment: Stampin up "Thanks a tons" retired
CS/DP: Doodlebug Design Paper, Cardstock: Stampin up: Real Red, Pink Passion, Bazzil Bling for base
Tools/Embellishments: Nestabilities "Blossom", Word Window punch, Retro flower punch, Martha Stewart: pearl stickers, Strawberry felt stickers, Prima Marketing, Making Memories, Pink Jute received from Carole (thank you!)
Paper used behind Tilda and to color Tilda on: 89 lb Cover weight CRYOGEN WHITE
Copic Sketch used:hair: E50 (for blending and highlights), Y21, E31clothes: BG01, BG02, BG000 (for blending), R24, R27, R30 (for blending), R81 (also for Airbrushing), R85, YG06,skin:R20, E00, E11, E000 (for blending)

to make handmade envelope: "The Enveloper" i would also recommend to purchase the remoistable glue for your envelopes. In the past i have closed my envelopes with Mono Multi glue. I am very very happy with this glue.. however i find it not good enough for envelope boxes due to the heavy layers and embellishments i use. I have found that Scor tape is just PERFECT. I used it on everything.. on the altered note books i made because this is supposed to be an item that you USE.. i actually tape down the ribbon with it. That stuff sticks!!
okay.. last but not least the card was made using the the challenge over on Stamp with Fun which the very talented Nikki has created for this week a sketch and sponsors the blog! Thank you sweetie.
oh and some of you asked where i found that Cytrogen white CS (89lb!!) i spoke about yesterday... you can find it here.

Happy Fourth

Hello and a wonderful Friday. Today's card is created using the wonderful sketch that Heidi has prepared for us to follow on the Friday Sketcher blog. As simple as this sketch looks like.. i had really some trouble with it.
I don't know if you can see it but the paper i have used to stamp Tilda on is my newest favorite paper lol. My friend Jacque told me so much about this paper for a long time, but boy this CS is so pricey i was NOOOO iam not buying it.. i use Neenah paper.. so she sent me a full pack to play with lol.. thank you so much sweetie. Girls i tell you.. this paper is a DREAM. It kind of looks like Stampin up's Shimmery white cs.. the Copics blend like butter on it and if you cut images out it still does look so nice because the paper is thin. The sparkle of this paper is amazing.. it almost brings your images alive. I was worried with airbrushing but even with this layer of color on top of the paper it still sparkles. The Tilda with bird card was made with this card stock as well. oh... now you want to know the name of the paper right it is called Curious Iridescent Paper color "Cryogen White"

Edit: Please check out the 2009 blog hop "Cards for Heros". I was informed by Carole W. and i thought i submit this card. I do not have a personal experience with soldiers who serve the Untited States but i have the highest respect for each and anyone who serves to protect and make any country save. My uncle from my mothes side served for the Untited States in the Army. If you join the blog hop you can win many prizes sponsored by example Hero Arts ect. the first start for you to hop can be found at Cathy's fabulous blog.

Vintage Love

Hello a good start into the weekend. Today i have lots of pictures. The card was made for "Stamp with Fun" Challenge blog. The theme is to make a "vintage" card. I used for my card a Tilda which can be found in the Christmas 2008 Collection and combined her with a stamp from the "Love" 2009 Collection. The tag behind the focal point image can be pulled out and be used for a personal note to the recipient.
All layers of the card are heavily distressed. Here is a close up shot from the inside of the card. I used Shimmerz new product Spritz in "Baby Breath" It does look soooo pretty! If you like you can go over to the blog and put your entry in to win some of the new Shimmerz Spritz colors!

okay.. you probably think iam going nuts now to decorate also the back of my cards ? noooope..and i don't think i will start it :-) I have made this tag with all the sewing to add to the inside of the card but it just did not look "RIGHT" so i used an other tag and this one i just did not want to throw in the trash.
little splatters is from a retiered stamps set by Stampin up called itty bitty backgrounds
Papers: K&Company "Madeline" 8.5 x 8.5 found at Michaels
I also would like to tell you from a brand new Challenge blog called: The Next Level! iam so excited about this blog and can not wait to see what is going to be going on there!!!

Just A Quick One ...

Hello good morning... one of my readers asked me if i could make for her 12 "Thank You" notes. The only requests the lady had was the card should be A2 size, not finished in the inside and not too many embellishments (here Prima Marketing and Robins Nest) on it. What i have done is.. i masked Tilda (Shabby Chic 2008) and just used some airbrushing with "milky white" and R81, distressed all the layers. However i could not resist to add stitching to the focal point motif.. i just thought it looks so much better with it. On every piece of clothing (except shirt) i used up to 3 markers to color and blend in. The hair is blond because i submitted this card to the Challenge No 4 over on the "Copic Challenge" blog.

If Wishes Could Make You Well...

Good morning :-) oh my.. i totally forgot that it is already Thursday :-) My card for CCT Challenge to use big numbers or letters was finished.. but it slipped my mind lol.

Thought i in cooperate this big "S" for Sorry - but it would have worked for any kind of personalized kid cards (my son friends name is Sam). I went with the really crazy pattern of the Basic Grey "Ricky" stack. To be honest when i bought that paper i was not sure if i would have any ideas for the bird paper and now it is the first one to be used :-)

Sentiments: Stampin up "Fancy Flexible Phrases" and Curvy Verses
CS/DO: Bazzill, Stampin up, Basic Grey " Lime Ricky"
Embellishments: Chipboard Letter by Bazzill, Robins Nest, Stampin up, My Minds Eye (Star rub ons), Stickles, Hero Arts black stickers
Tools: Word Window punch

Simply... With Love

Hello and a wonderful Wednesday. Today's card is for the "old Magnolia" challenge :-) it was my turn this week and i choose this lovely Tilda holding some tulips in her hand because i had her right when she came out but never was able to make a card with her. She is definitely one of the stamps in the Easter Collection that can be used during the entire Spring. Struggled a little bit with my layout :-) because the tulip pattern of my Designer Paper is scaled to a 12x12 size and i had a hard time to find a layout, so it would still show.
Stamps: Tilda with Tulips and Tulip bunch "Easter 2009 Collection" 7kids is anticipating an other order with more "Chasing Butterflies" stamps and some others to be in May 18!!!
Sentiment: Stampin up: "Yummy"
Papers: Stampin up (Pink Pirouette, Old Olive) Bazzill Bling for base, DP: Heidi Grace Designs, Stampin up 6x6 stack
Embellishments: Prima Marketing, Stampin up hardware and ribbons, Tools: Sizzix "Top Note", Stampin up oval punch, EK Success border punch "fleur de lis", Martha Stewart: Fond for leafes
Please take a look at my friends cards who also have created a card using this image. For A Special Teacher

Hello ... i hope you have had a wonderful Mothers Day! My card for today was made using this weeks sketch over on "Stamp With Fun" Challenge blog. I went with the Magnolia school collection because this week in Lucas school the moms started to talk about to collect some money that we could buy the teacher a gift by the end of the school year.
I used some papers out of the "girl" line from the Prima Markeing "Fary Tale" line. The girl who wins my RAK packet on the Friday Sketcher blog will also recieve several sheets of this paper in her package. I really like it because the patters are small and work well for cards and they are kind of shabby chic:-)
Sentiment: Amuse Art Stamps,
Papers: Prima Marketing "Fary Tale" and flowers
Embellishments: Making Memories, Stampin up, Tim Holtz

Where There Is Love ... There Is Life

Hello good morning :-) or happy Saturday. I think my card today looks really simple but boy this card took me a long, long time to make! First i had to find the right sentiment that's long and narrow so the words AND Tilda would fit. First i masked the frame and stamped Tilda to the left - i masked both images. Than i had to divide the sentiment into 2 sections, one part in the top and one at the bottom and stamped that inside the frame. I masked Tilda and airbrushed the frame in, than i colored the berries, leaves and Tilda. Stamped than Tilda a second time and colored her in and added her with pop up dots to the image.

It was fun to make but boy.. to stamp that sentiment straight and in place surely cost me a lot of patience :-) and white papers lol..
For the inside i must say i just wanted to finish the card. I did not airbrush the frame anymore but i did take care that the berries with leaves and ladybug are colored nicely in.
This card is for a very wonderful person i have met online :-)
Papers: Autum Leaves and Stampin up
Embellishments: Martha Stewart pearl stickers, Stampin up grosgrain, Making Memories button, Scrappers Floss
Sketch for this card was provided by my friend Sharon!

I mixed on a piece of scrap paper Shimmerz paints in Caramel and Candle light and just brushed the paint over the entire image. It does look really elegant and it was really easy and effortless to make.

Is it already Summer??

This card is sold to my dear friend Crissy C. - Thank you so much! xxx
This weeks sketch for the Friday Sketcher blog included a wavy cut on one of the Designer Papers and it inspired me to use my wonderful stamps from the Summer Sea Collection. This Tilda was always one of my favorites out of this collection. She is adorable :-) and certainly makes me smile :-) It is hard to tell on this picture - the background is airbrushed with B00 "frost blue" and to simultate the water i used Shimmers "under the sea" blingz paint.

Embellishments: Shimmerz" Under the Sea Blingz" paint for the water , Prima Marketing, Making Memories, Bo Bunny (flowers)

This card is made for this weeks Friday Sketcher Challenge blog. Please take a look what Carole, Bea, Heidi, Jaqueline and Murmur came up with using the sketch Bea came up with!
Usually i do not talk about things that go in in the world - but today i want to say how shocked i am about what happened in the Netherlands yesterday! Iam so sorry!
