Tilda with lamb

Hello and a wonderful Friday. May i invite you over to the Friday Sketcher blog? This week i am hostess and below is the sketch i came up with for you to follow. As you can tell.. iam not very good with the computer but the DT made some fabulous cards with it and give you lots of ideas.

For my card i used this lovely Easter stamp that Magnolia had sent me. I must say iam not quite sure (because of the language) if the sentiment fits 100% lol.. but when i created the sketch i had a different image in mind were i had a long matching sentiment. I should have just followed my original plan but cute Tilda with lamb was just so tempting to use and how long can i still use her??? I did a little bit of distressing on some layers.

Please take a look what
Carole,
Bea,
Heidi,
Jaqueline ,Kristine and Murmur came up with using the sketch for this week

Thinking of you

For my card i was inspired by the big summery flowers i have received through Magnolia to make a card with. I just went the easier way and picked some paper out of my DVCW "Citrus" pack to bring the card together.
Gosh.. i have had this cute little Magnolia kite stamp one day ... and gave it away because i needed a fast gift. I totally forgot about it and looked everywhere to find it until i remembered. When i look at this Tilda running, i think it would be just sooo PERFECT, why did i give it away :-). Well, no kite anymore, so i punched some butterflies out and painted those with Shimmerz "Blingz" Under the Sea. Looks really super shimmery and does match the papers fabulous. As you can see Tilda's arm did not fit into the oval... so i cut her out anyways and just colored on a second image the arm in, cut it out and glued it on the oval over the spot that was cut off.

Stamps: Magnolia Spring kit .. if you missed to purchase this wonderful kit in Sweden available through Magnolia-liocus.
Embellishments: Shimmerz "Blingz", flowers sent by Magnolia, Sweden
Papers: Stampin up and DVCW
Punch: Fiskars "Apron Lace" and Martha Stewart

Make a wish

Hello and happy Wednesday. For my card today i used some paper of Basic Greys "Phoebe" stack. I loved the vines and that the paper has some dark pink inside, i thought would look nice with clover Tilda is holding. Besides that the dark pink inside the paper gave me the opportunity to give Tilda some extra color. I stamped Tilda 2x, than cut one with the circle Nestabilitie and the second one with scissors once colored in i added her with pop-up dots over the circle part. The clover she is holding is painted in addition to the Copics with Celery Green Shimmerz paints. Stamp: Tilda GL 09 and sentiment by Magnolia Fortune Collection
Embellishments: Stampin up ribbons and Shimmerz paint in Celery Green
Tools: Nestabilities and Martha Stewart border punch

Happy St Patricks Day

Hello and a happy St. Patricks Day :-) For my card today i wanted to make a more masculine card. Loved the hat with stick just by itself but than i thought.. hmmm.. lil Edwin would look nice on that long panel. No sentiment but now that i look at the card - i think a long one tucked underneath the hat image, would look nice. Sometimes i see stuff like that only when adding the pictures to the blog. Oh well :-)

Papers: all by Stampin up and Designer Paper: Polka Dot - piece of scrap from the DCVW Nanna Nursery pack, Bo Bunny: "Alissa Adorable"
Embellishments: Stampin up ribbon, Making Memories brads

Good Luck - Fortune Collection

Hello and happy Monday. Yiiipeeee...Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net
i have received some new stamps :-) the Fortune Collection :-) is here :-) In Germany i have never celebrated St. Patrick's Day but oh my.. those stamps are sooo cute and it was really easy to make cards with those lovely stamps. I did not even need to go to a store and get some extra stuff. Love that even more :-) The cards for this week are fairly simple... Niklas ear infection got worse and in addition he is diagnosed with Asthma. I was all over the place this past week. Soooo.. what shall i tell you :-) I love simple cards - because sometimes i just do not have the time to finish them up in the inside AND also ... quite honestly.. some people (hello Mama.. don't even care if the card is super fancy). Isn't this not also one other good reason to love the Magnolia's??? They just make any card look so sweet.

Stamps: All Magnolia GL09 Tilda with Umbrella and Sentiment: GL09 Good Luck (Fortune 2009 Collection)
CS/Designer Paper: Stampin up: Certainly Celery, Blue Bayou, Basic Grey 6x6 "Urban Prairie" pad
Embellishments: Making Memories: eyelet, Stampin up: ribbon
Tools: Sewing machine and Stampin up circle punches

Yummy Chocolate

Hello and a wonderful Wednesday. I have made this chocolate box in anticipation of the new Easter Magnolia stamps but unfortunately it seams that my DT kit got lost in the mail. So, when Carole set the challenge for the Magnolia image out of a previous Collection i thought.. hmmm this one does work for the long shape of the box as well aaaaand... lol.. i covered this months challenge set by my dear friend Inge Groot, how asked to come up with a idea to cover chocolate.

Here you can see the "compartments" in the inside of the box. I have used the super easy template that you can find at Regina's Cutting Cafe to make my box. If you go check out her site.. you can see her sample (which inspired me!) she made a box and used the compartments for ribbons, buttons ect. to give as a gift for somebody.

Paper: Cool Carrebian, Imaginice,
Embellishments: Stampin up Ribbons, Prima Marketing
Tools: Siccors and Martha Stewart border punch

Please take a look at my friends blogs if you have a extra minute, each of them has created a card using this Tilda image for you. If you like to join our challenge, feel free to use Carole's, Jaqueline's, Bea's or my blog to show and link your card creation.

For You...

Hello and happy Tuesday. aahhh... an other project to the rescue that I can show today :-) Sorry for the "snowy paper" the pillow box was made in November and published in Ett Tryk (Norway) - i could not show it sooner. However.. this My Minds Eye Laundry line paper is really gorgeous and i think some of the patterns can be used even now - is it called "print pattern"?? To make this pillow box i used one of Regina's cutting Cafe Designs. Those boxes are so easy and it is finished in a matter of minutes. You can create lovely gifts that look like you have spent a lot of time for not much effort :-) check her out. She is also sponsoring this week the Friday Sketcher blog in case you have not played with us.. you could try and have a chance to win a file of her designs!

Hello

Hello and a wonderful Sunday to all of you. Last week i received from my sweet friend Tina mail :-) omg.. it was filled with the most beautiful pins, needles, pearls, craft supplies aaaaaand several colors of Flower Soft. I always wanted to try it and had it on my next shopping list for my 7 Kids order because Tab just started to carry it in different colors. So me downstairs and digging through my stamps looking on what image i want to try it out :-) It is sooo easy to use and i love the dimension and interest i was able to create on my card with Flower Soft.I have decided on this cute Tilda... she is from last years Spring/Easter collection and used this weeks MOJO Monday sketch one more time. This time i stayed 100% to the given sketch even with the stamped Sentiment in the right hand corner. As you know me now.... :-) usually i make my cards at first without a sentiment so they are more versatile. I have used on the frame and to Tilda's wings my Shimmerz paint in Pixie Dust.. loooove that stuff :-) it really looks so pretty!
Stamps: Magnolia Tilda 2008 Spring Collection, Sentiment: Papertrey Ink "Mixed Messages" (inside and outside)
other: Neenah CS, Memento Ink, Copic Sketch, Flower Soft and Robins Nest can all be purchased at 7 Kids College fund!!!
All kinds of colored sparkle can be found at: Shimmerz
