I have been tagged...

Jo has tagged me with the Middle Name Game! These are the rules
You must post the rules before you give your answers.
You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name.
After you've been tagged, you need to up-date your blog with your middle name and answers.
At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details.
I do not have a Middle name and my maidenname is waaaaay too long so i use my last name: Rosa!
R = restless.. i can never sit still for long time.
O = Opel (drove that car in Germany)

S = shopper (as you can tell loooove to buy craft supplies)
A = my moms name is Astrid (miss her way too much)
and this game took me waaay to long, cause i dont feel like my english is good enough:-) hope this is okay?
i would like to tagg Ila, Terrie B, Suzanne, All Pink Girl and Marlou (just because of the language)
Thank you

A Little Birdie Told Me...

.... that you are having a baby.
This is my work for the MagnoliaChallangeBlog. The task was to create anything baby related. Last week had just a few Magnolias , so my choice was very limited, but i thought i can make the girl with the bird on her hand work.

Now there is a little story about this card. When i scored the card i thought i do not have to look for the scoring measurements anymore, cause i made already a few that day. So i scored the last score the one on the tip at 3" instead of 3.5. When i was folding it toghether, i noticed the mistake and how ugly it looked. The paper was ruined. No way i could leave it that way. But on the other hand i could not throw a entire sheet of DP just yet in the trash. So i covered the front flap with a piece of Cuttlebug embossed white paper (Textile Texture) and tied a ribbon around, which covered the scoring line in the inside, a little strip of double sided tape holds the ribbon in place. I was one happy girl :-) To make the swirls behind the girl i used Stampin up's "Bronc Buster" , a glue pad and some Stampin up Dazzeling Diamond Dust Glitter. The sweater she is wearing is paper pieced with Noteworthy DP.

Funny thing is... my son Lucas former pre-school teacher told a friend of mine (officially) that she is pregnant. Since Niklas is going to the same school i can give this card to her tomorrow :-)

Stamps: ont-size:85%;">, Crafty Secrets, Stampin up
Embellishments: Silver Brads, Pretty in Pink Ribbon, Dazzeling Diamond Dust
Tools: Piercing Tool, Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, Scoring Tool

On the bottom of the paper i used my piercing tool to make the holes. I submitted this card to Donnas Challange.Stamps: Magnolia, Stampin Up: Sentiment

A Day At The Beach

Yesterday while i was working on my princess card i noticed in my wheel box my retired Fishy Friends Wheel and i knew exactly what card i want to make next. This is a Pocket Card... well... when you go to the beach you need some money to get some cold icecream, right?

The card is a regular size, but you fold one part down towards the inside and adhere it in the inside to create a pocket. To cover the pongs i cut more db to hide them. The background paper is from My Minds Eye, it was on sale in my lss and i could not resist. Tilda is stamped with Stazon onto watercolor paper and i used my Stampin Up Inkpads to color her. Thats the nice thing about Stampin up Inkpads.. the lids are so elastic that when you push on the top of the lid and flip it open you will have some puddles of colors in there. I picked up the ink with my aquapainter and colored to match my paper. The fishies are wheeled first onto seperate ww paper, colored and cut out. Than i adhered them on the right spot of the carrebian paper which was wheeled in carrebian. Onto the tentacles of the octopus i added orange Stickles.
Stamps: Magnolia, Tilda, Stampin Up Fishy Wheel (retiered)
Paper: My Minds Eye DP, Stampin up: Pumpkin Pie, Cool Carrebien (retiered), Watercolorpaper
Color: Stampin up Inkpads: Cool Carrebiean, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Summer Sun, Creamy Caramel for the sand and the skin tone
Embellishments: Stickles, silver string, Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain ribbon, Making Memories Brads
Tools: Crop-A-Dile

Mirror, mirror on the wall...

When Donna told us last week what this weeks challenge is - i was like... what i am i going to make???
Her task is to use: Shiny Silver
She said it could be some shiny mirror card, could be some metal work/wire , what about little shiny mirror tiles? So.. after about 3 days of thinking i made a card... (which obviously this is not :-) ) while making the card it came all naturally. I stopped making the card and made "quick" *insert smile here* this lip balm holder. This was really a fun project to work on. There are several templates out there for balm holders, but i made mine custom. It had to work for the Tilda image on the cover and the Tilda image inside, so she would reflect herself in the mirror tiles. The card i was talking about i will show you tomorrow. I am trying shuffle myself some extra time this week, so i can work on my tutorial and the cards that are going to be published. Stamps: Magnolia/Tilda (beide Motive von Monika als RAK), Stampin up (ich gebe zu das Set habe ich nur wegen dem Spruch gekauft), Jumbo Wheel Petals Stampin up
CS: Stampin up Black, Pretty in Pink
Embellishments: Ribbon: Mikes, Rhinestones no source, Rayherr Bluemchen v. Moni, Rhinestone brads: MM
Ink/Colormedium: various Markers, Black, Pretty in Pink Stampin up

Cuttlebug Blog Candy - for everybody!!!

sorry girls i forgot... of course i ship internationally!!!
Hallo ihr... ich hab ganz vergessen zu erwaehnen... natuerlich versende ich international!
so what are waiting for? i already thought you don't like my candy???? :-)

Danke fuers mitspielen!

Today i would like to raffle some sweet blog candy for you. It made me so happy when i saw how much my blog counter went up in this short period of time. Thanks here to all of you for comming back to me. So I went yesterday to my craft store to see what i could get as candy. When i saw that Cuttlebug Die i thought that might be something that a lot of crafty girls like us could use- plus its not so common than a cuttlebug folder (unfortunately the very new ones are still not out yet) . I can see that Poppy flower used with our lovely Magnolia images or even cut out from felt, layered and used as an embellishment for scrapbook pages.

Now to get a chance to win this Blog Candy, i would like you to ask to make any kind of Friendship card. Colors and layout is up to you. Maybe you want to combine this weeks Magnolia Challange with my Blog Candy Challange?! That would be extra fun. Create your card til next Saturday 6.00 pm and post it to onto your blog with link to my blog and you will be in. If you do not have a blog, dont worry you can always upload your card to splitcoaststampers and use PPRosa in the field for cardname and in description field add the link to my blog. Thanks for playing along!

Sugar Nellie Notecard

So, here is my finished card. Isn't she cute? These Notecards are the perfect size to be uesed for a birthday present or even for little Baby "Thank You" cards. I can see myself making plenty of these. Since these cards are not too big, i was able to find a destination for some pieces of scrap paper i had, as well for tiny piece of ribbon.
Zutaten/ Supplies used:
Stempel: SugarNellie, Stampin up "Happy Everything"
Tools: Nestabilitie
Embellishments: Stickles, Pretty in Pink Stampin up Ribbon
Paper: Pretty in Pink CS, Chocolate Chip CS, Noteworthy from Making Memories

I hope you like my tutorial.
I just noticed that my blog counter is over 10.000 hits. wow.. thank you girls.. i think it is time for some blog candy. I will go later today to the craftstore and see what i will find - thats easy to ship. Please come back if you want to win some crafting goodies oooor if you just like my blog.

thank you

Sending you Sunshine

I hope you all like my first card i made for the MagnoliaChallangeBlog it is funny.. now i feel really sort of pressure when designing a card. I think it might take a while before i will get back to my easing-getting-it-all-together :-)
now... i tought it is fun to use flowers on a boy card. So Edwin with ballon came again to the rescue! I did not want to go too girly, so i used the Prima flowers sparingly and only to sort of make a sun. i picked the more muted tones from serenic route Designer Paper by coloring his clothes brown and orange.

my supplies for this card used:
Stampset: Edwin with ballon, Stampin up: Loads of love, AMuse: Sentiment (Sending you sunshine)
Embellishments: Prima Flowers , Making Memories Rhinestone Brad, Stampin up wide Grossgrain Ribbon, Making Memories Antique Brads
Tool: Ticket Corner Punch Stampin up
Paper/CS: Pumpkin Pie, Marigold Morning, White and Serenic Route DP
